• 1 PawBack tag (or 2, depending on what you ordered) with a unique 6-character ID printed on the back.
• 1 split ring to attach the tag to your pet's collar.
• This manual.

You can do this any time, even before the tag arrives.

1. Go to pawback.pet/en/signup, or open the PawBack app.
2. Sign in with email, Apple, or Google.
3. Add your pet's profile: photo, name, breed, microchip number, vaccinations, medication, friendly-with notes, anything a finder or vet should know.

The more useful info you add, the easier it is for a finder to do the right thing fast.

When your tag arrives, link it to your pet:

• Easiest — NFC: in the app, go to Tags → Tap NFC tag to scan, then hold the tag against your phone. The 6-character ID fills automatically.
• Manual: type the 6-character ID from the back of your tag into the activation field.

You're done. The tag is now linked to that pet.

Use the included split ring to clip the tag to your pet's collar. Hang it with the QR code facing outward so a finder can see it without rotating it.

1. They tap their phone to the tag (or scan the QR with any camera).
2. Your pet's profile opens in their phone's browser — no app or account needed on their end.
3. They can message you instantly. You choose at signup whether your phone number is visible.
4. You're notified within seconds: push notification (if you have the app) and email.

Most strangers help if you make it easy. Keeping your profile up to date — fresh photo, current notes — makes the difference.

One tap in the app or website. A red LOST banner appears on your pet's public tag page so finders know it's urgent. Tap again when they're home to clear it.

Your name, email, and home address are never shown publicly. Phone number is shown only if you opt in. Data lives in the EU (Frankfurt). You can delete your account or any pet at any time from the app.
