Smart pet ID — made in the EU
A tiny QR + NFC tag on the collar. Anyone with a phone can reach you — without ever seeing your name, address, or number.

Our promise
Other trackers cost €90 + a monthly fee. We charge €9.99. Once.
We think your pet's safety shouldn't come with a recurring invoice. Buy the tag, we host the profile, and we stay out of your way — for as long as PawBack exists.
How it works
A 28mm disc with a QR code + NFC chip. Engraved with a unique six-letter ID.
Add a photo, name, breed, and any medical notes. Takes 90 seconds. Your personal data is never added.
Split ring included. Survives mud, rivers, and the occasional bite.
A stranger holds their phone to the tag. Your dog's profile opens. One tap sends you an email or rings your phone — through us.

Questions
No. Neither do you nor the person who finds your dog. The tag opens pawback.pet/t/… in any phone's browser. That's it.
Finders never see your name, email, address, or phone. They see the dog's profile and a contact form. We relay their message to you.
We give at least 6 months notice and provide data export instructions. The URL keeps working. It's in our terms.
The NFC and QR require a data connection to load the profile. 99% of finders have mobile data.
Yes, but our 28mm disc is sized for dogs 5kg+. A smaller cat tag is planned for later.
We are based in Düsseldorf. More languages coming when we can support them properly.
They solve different problems. GPS trackers tell you where your dog is in real time — useful, but they need charging and cost €5-10/month forever. PawBack works the moment a stranger picks your dog up: they tap the tag, see your pet's profile, and message you. Most lost pets are found by a person, not by GPS. We wrote a longer comparison if you're deciding between them.
One tag. One scan. No subscription. Ever.
